1966年東京生まれ。静岡で育つ。89年12月から現メンバーのラインナップでTHE YELLOW MONKEYを始動。03年に「YOSHII LOVINSON」名義として「TALI」でソロデビュー。06年から「吉井和哉」名義で活動。その後、数々の作品をリリースし、以降も多くの海外ミュージシャンやエンジニアとの制作活動を行う。2020年7月より、アコースティックライブ「UTANOVA」を敢行中。

Kazuya Yoshii was born in Tokyo and grew up in Shizuoka. In December 1989, he formed THE YELLOW MONKEY with the current lineup. In 2003, he made his solo debut with his single, “TALI,” under the moniker YOSHII LOVINSON, which he switched to Kazuya Yoshi in 2006. He continues to be extremely prolific and has worked with many international musicians and engineers. Since July 2020, he has been performing an acoustic live series called UTANOVA.

ストリートライブ活動を通じて出会い意気投合し1998年9月にコブクロを結成。インディーズ時代から幅広い世代の支持を集め2001年3月メジャーデビュー。
2005年に「ここにしか咲かない花」「桜」が大ヒットを記録し、2006年のベストアルバム「ALL SINGLES BEST」は350万枚を売り上げ、2007年「蕾」で第49回日本レコード大賞を受賞。
その後も「流星」「未来」などコンスタントにヒット曲を送り出し、2018年に結成20周年を記念したライブを開催し、20年の集大成となる初のコンプリートベスト「ALL TIME BEST 1998-2018」を発売。オリコンチャート1位を獲得し、30万枚を超える大ヒットを記録。
2020年2月、コブクロ結成の地・大阪で2025年に開催される「2025年日本国際博覧会」のアンバサダーに就任。3月にシングル「卒業」を発売し、10月14日にはニューシングル「灯ル祈リ」の発売。
布袋寅泰氏とは、“今井美樹×小渕健太郎with布袋寅泰＋黒田俊介”名義による「太陽のメロディー」や、小渕による「風の銀河へ」「Aquarium」の作詞提供、コブクロの楽曲「NO PAIN, NO GAIN」の共作など、ライブやイベントも含めて過去にも多数共演。

Kobukuro is a duo formed by Kentaro Kobuchi and Shunsuke Kuroda in September 1998 after meeting each other in the Osaka street busking scene. After earning wide recognition on an indie label, they made their major debut in March 2001. In 2005, their singles, “Kokonishika Sakanai Hana (A Flower That Only Blossoms Here)” and “Sakura (Cherry Blossom)” became massive hits. Their album ALL SINGLES BEST, released in 2006, sold 3.5 million copies, and in 2007, their single “Tsubomi” won the grand prix at the 49th Japan Record Awards.
They continued their success with constant hit singles such as “Ryusei (Meteor)” and “Mirai.” In 2018, they hosted a concert celebrating their 20th anniversary and released a compilation titled ALL TIME BEST 1998 – 2018, which reached #1 on the ORICON chart and sold over 300,000 copies.
In February 2020, they were appointed as the ambassador for the upcoming world expo to be helz in Osaka in 2025. They released their single, “Sotsugyo,” in March and released their new single, “Tomoru Inori,” on October 14.
They have collaborated with Hotei numerous times in the past. Besides their joint single, “Taiyo no Melody,” which was released under Miki Imai + Kentaro Kobuchi with Tomoyasu Hotei + Shunsuke Kuroda, Kobuchi has provided lyrics for Hotei’s songs “Kaze no Ginga e” and “Aquarium,” and have also co-written Kobukuro’s song, “No Pain, No Gain” in addition to joining each other on stage at various concerts and events.

Kiyoshi Hikawa is from Fukuoka, Japan. He made his debut with his enka single, “Hakone Hachiri no Hanjiro,” as the newcomer artist commemorating the 90th anniversary of Nippon Columbia, subsequently winning multiple awards for best newcomer that year, including the Best Newcomer Award at the prestigious 42nd Japan Record Awards. Ever since performing on the 51st annual NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen, he has appeared on the show 20 consecutive years and counting. He continues to build his artistic legacy by winning the Grand Prix award with his song, “Ikken,” at the 48th Japan Record Awards in 2006, and also winning his 9th Japan Cable Awards in 2017, holding the record of the most Grand Prix won by a single artist for the esteemed award which ended the same year. In 2017, concert footage of him singing his first anime theme song, “Genkai Toppa x Survivor,” from Dragon Ball Super went viral on Twitter, becoming a #4 global trend. GLIM SPANKY are a rock duo, consisting of Matsuo’s husky and unique vocals and Kamemoto's bluesy emotional guitar. They formed in 2007 and made their major debut in 2014. In 2018, they performed their first Budokan headline show and appeared on the Green stage (the main stage) at Fuji Rock Festival. They have recorded many theme songs for TV drama, films, and anime. More recently, they have written songs for other acts such as Momoiro Clover Z and Mone Kamishiraishi.

1997年に川島道行と結成したBOOM BOOM SATELLITESとしてヨーロッパでデビュー。
エレクトロニックとロックの要素を取り入れながら新しい未知の音楽を創造し続け、ベルギーのR&Sレーベルよりリリースされた12インチシングルをきっかけに、数々のヨーロッパ大型ロックフェスティバル、海外ツアーを敢行し、NME、Melody Makerをはじめ様々なメディアに大絶賛される。
日本国内の大型フェスではメインステージでのアクトを務め、オーディエンスに衝撃を残し、20年近くライブバンドとして高い評価を受けてきたが、2016年 川島道行が脳腫瘍により逝去。
バンドとしての活動が終了し、川島と果たせなかったラストライブを2017年6月にスタジオコーストにて開催し、このライブを収めた映像の発売をもってBOOM BOOM SATELLITESとしてのプロダクツリリースを終える。
BOOM BOOM SATELLITESの活動停止後、中野ミュージックを立ち上げ、プロデュース、コンポーズ、劇伴制作の活動を本格的に開始させる。

Masayuki Nakano first came onto the scene as one half of the duo, BOOM BOOM SATELLITES, which he formed with Michiyuki Kawashima in 1997, making their debut in Europe. Fusing elements of electronica and rock, they made innovative music unlike anything that was around, and released a 12 inch single from Belgium techno label, R&S. They went on to perform in many European festivals and headline tours, receiving rave reviews from NME, Melody Maker, etc. They also made a big impact performing on the main stage of many music festivals in Japan and were considered one of the best live acts for nearly 20 years. The band ended their career when Kawashima passed away after his long battle with brain tumor in 2016. Nakano performed his last show as BOOM BOOM SATELLITES in June 2017, the video of which would become the final release of the groundbreaking duo. Since then, Nakano founded Nakano Music and has been busy producing, composing, and working on film scores.

For nearly two decades, Nate Smith has been a key piece in reinvigorating the international music scene with his visceral, instinctive, and deep-rooted style of drumming. Marc Lavoine is one of France’s most successful singers, also known as an actor and writer whose popularity expands to French-speaking countries outside France.
He started his careers as an actor in 1981 and also became a singer in 1984. From 1988, he started his duet series with female singers with his duet with Catherine Ringer from Les Rita Mitsouko. He has also worked with Françoise Hardy, Carla Bruni, Julie Depardieu, Princess Erika, to name a few. His discography consists of 13 original albums, 2 live albums, 5 greatest hits albums, many of which have become platinum or gold.
He won the SACEM Raoul Breton award in 1986 with his debut album, Marc Lavoine, and Music Video of the Year at the Victoires de la Musique, the French equivalent to the Grammy’s in 1997.
As an actor, he has appeared in over 30 films such as Claude Chabrol’s L’Enfer, Tony Gatlif’s Korkoro (Liberté), Yvan Attal’s Ma Femme este une Actrice, and Élie Chouraqui’s Les Menteurs.
He was honored the Chevalier of the Légion d'honneur in 2007, and was also made Chevalier in 2004, and Officier in 2007 of L'ordre des Arts et des Lettres.

Adelmo Fornaciari was born in Roncocesi (RE) on 25 September 1955 but, thanks to his surname given to him by his primary school teacher, became known by everybody as Zucchero (Sugar).
Among the leading international interpreters of the blues, with record sales of more than 60,000,000, he’s one of the Italian artists that have sold the highest number of records in the world. After a long apprenticeship which eventually led him to being counted among the Italian singer-songwriters, he decided to change everything; he flew to America and began a collaboration with the producer Corrado Rustici which lasted several years.
The release of the first two records, “Zucchero & The Randy Jackson Band” (1985) and “Rispetto” (1986) put Zucchero in the limelight in the Italian market, but he really made his mark with the national and international public with the record “Blue’s” (1987). He then released his album “Oro, Incenso & Birra” (1989) which, with more than 8 million copies sold, was for a long time the highest selling album in the history of Italian popular music in the world. In 1990 Zucchero was the first western artist to perform at the Kremlin after the fall of the Berlin Wall, from which the record “Live At The Kremlin” (1991) was taken. Still in 1991, he reached the top of the European charts with the single “Senza Una Donna (Without A Woman)” sung together with Paul Young. In 1992 he released “Miserere” and began a friendship with Maestro Luciano Pavarotti, with whom he organized various Pavarotti & Friends concerts, together with Bono of U2, who over the years would subsequently write various lyrics for Zucchero.
He made his first own tour of the USA after the release of the record “Spirito DiVino” (1995). “Bluesugar” was release in 1998, followed by “Shake” in 2001. The much-awaited collection of duets, “ZU & COmpany”, was finally released in 2004 and was presented with a concert-event at the Royal Albert Hall from which “Live At The Royal Albert Hall” video (2004) was made.
2006 saw another artistic change for Zucchero; he left his longstanding fellow musicians, and recorded the album, “Fly”, produced by Don Was. 2010 was the year of his first concept-album, “Chocabeck”, produced by Don Was and Brendan O’Brien, and dedicated to his origins.
In 2012 Zucchero fulfilled another desire that he’d been nurturing ever since the time of the Kremlin concert; to fly to Cuba and, with the best Cuban musicians, record the album “La Sesión Cubana”, which was presented with a historic concert in December 2012 at the Higher Institute of Art in Havana and considered one of the greatest concerts ever given by a foreign singer in Cuba before the end of the embargo imposed by the United States; the concert was released with the title “Una Rosa Blanca” (2013).
In 2016 “Black Cat” was released, produced by three of the biggest names on the world stage: Don Was, Brendan O’Brien and T Bone Burnett. This was followed by a world tour lasting three years: 166 concerts, 48 nations, 136 cities. In November 2017 Universal celebrated Zucchero with the release of “Wanted”, a monumental box-set with the best from a career spanning more than 30 years, with original material, live performances and a documentary film with interviews and images from backstage of the Black Cat Tour.
During the 2018 Zucchero has been a star attraction at the biggest European festivals and has performed two special concerts in Piazza San Marco in Venice. In 2019 he released a new album entitled “D.O.C.”, and subsequently, after receiving an invitation from Sting and his wife Trudy, he flew to New York to participate in The Rainforest Fund 30th Anniversary Concert alongside artists such as Springsteen, Sting himself, the Eurythmics and many more. During the lockdown period due to the Covid-19 pandemic, he performed against the evocative nocturnal backdrop of the Colosseum and a deserted Rome, singing “Canta La Vita (Let Your Love Be Known)”, written by Bono. A few weeks later he appeared in a completely empty Piazza San Marco in Venice to sing a poignant version of the song “Amore Adesso! (No Time For Love Like Now)”, written by Michael Stipe and Aaron Dessner.
Always in the front line for humanitarian causes, Zucchero took part in the Freddie Mercury Tribute concert in 1992, in all the 46664 events for Nelson Mandela, at Live8 organized by Bob Geldof, Net Aid organized by Bono and many other events; Zucchero is also the only Italian artist to have taken part in the Woodstock Festival in 1994. He’s the only Italian artist to have been nominated for the Grammy awards with Billy Preston and Eric Clapton as best "R&B Traditional Vocal Collaboration”.
His music, known throughout the world, has generated numerous collaborations with international artists of the caliber of Bryan Adams, The Blues Brothers, Bono, Jeff Beck, Ray Charles, Eric Clapton, Joe Cocker, Elvis Costello, Miles Davis, Peter Gabriel, John Lee Hooker, B.B. King, Mark Knopfler, Brian May, Hotei Tomoyasu, Luciano Pavarotti, Iggy Pop, Alejandro Sanz, Sting and many others. First Brazilian musician to have been granted the title of Iberian-American Cultural Ambassador and to become a member of The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences; a singer, songwriter, arranger, instrumentalist, a coach at The Voice Brasil and The Voice Kids, as well as a visual artist in his own right, the intuitive and gestural aesthete Carlinhos Brown is recognizably one of the most creative and innovative artists in Brazilian culture. His solid career was built on his musical, social and percussive experience and the exuberance of his performances. Throughout his career the creative master gave birth to the band Timbalada, participated in the creation of Axé Music, the Tribalistas and dove into the visual arts. He has also been the first artist to test a completely new, three-party production model for distributing his songs: focusing on rhythmic revitalization, Carlinhos Brown founded a school to train musicians in Candeal - his native neighborhood in Salvador – a recording studio and the concert houses Candyall Guetho Square and Museu du Ritmo.
Among the many awards he has received, there are highlights like 6 Grammys, 1 Goya and a trophy given by ISME – International Society of Musical Education in recognition of his actions as an art educator. In 2020 three new albums have been released by the artist’s own label, Candyall Music: “Axé Inventions – Àjààlà” celebrating 35 years of Axé Music, his first album totally devoted to the genre; “Umbalista”, an album in which Carlinhos sings for the first time some of his songs that became famous in the voices of other artists and the children’s album “Paxuá and Paramim in: The Forest of the Flying Rivers”, featuring 10 songs with the message of environmental conservation. Born in Mongolia on the 8th of December 1972, Yang Kun is one of the most prominent male artists, composers, and actors in China. His album, Indifferent, released in 2002, became a triple million hit, earning him nationwide recognition. Ever since, he has expanded his careers in TV shows, film, drama, stage, proving his versatile talent and becoming a national household name.
As a singer-songwriter, he has released 9 original albums and a cover album during his 16-year career. He has written 82% (68 out of 83) of all the songs he has recorded, which is an achievement in itself considering the rarity of such cases among Chinese artists. “黒人教会220年の歴史を変えた！”と賞賛を受け、4月に「CHANGE」でメジャーデビュー。

Born and raised in Hokkaido, Japan.
She released her first major label single “Change” in 2008, reaching #3 in the National airplay charts. Soon after she released her studio album“Rainbow” – co-produced by Fukuhara herself peaked at #2 in the national charts in Jan 2009.
Her successive single “Let it Out” was also a hit, being chosen as the ending theme of popular anime Fullmetal Alchemist same year.
She released her second album soon after in 2009 “Music Is My Life”.
Following this release, she would release more conceptual EPs such as “The Soul Extreme EP” and “The Soul Extreme EP II” in 2011, mixing Soul, R&B and Pop. The leading track of The Soul Extreme EP, “O2”, featured R&B singer AI, and became a commercial success, with over 300,000 legal downloads of the song.
In 2014, Fukuhara decided to part ways with Sony Music Japan. In 2015, Fukuhara set up her own record label Happy Field Records, and released an EP entitled “Something New” on December 23. She has continued to tour regularly and has even crossed over to classical territory. She performed in St. Petersburg with Russia's oldest symphony orchestra, The Saint Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra. As part of Billboard Classic’s series, she has performed multiple times across Japan with a 300+ piece backing group (involving orchestra and gospel choirs) including a return show just 2 months after giving birth to her daughter. In 2019, she was the first Japanese female vocalist to perform and sell-out the Bluenote venues in China.

Yu Sakai is a singer-songwriter with a distinctive voice and an original sound, blending elements of soul, R&B, jazz, gospel, and rock. He is originally from Kochi, Japan. At 18, after graduating from high school, he fell in love with music and relocated to Tokyo at the age of 20, subsequently moved to Los Angeles 2 years later, where he taught piano himself.
Besides writing his own songs, he has written songs for a wide range of artists such as Kyoko Koizumi, Maaya Sakamoto, SMAP, Sexy Zone, Da-iCE, DISH//, Asako Toki, Seiko Niizuma, and Hiroko Yakushimaru, to name a few.
He made his major debut with his single, “Story,” on October 7th, 2009, which gained a record-breaking 43 powerplays in radio stations across Japan while also receiving powerplays on AM radio and satellite music channels, and it became a big topic.
Since 2018, he has made trips worldwide to write and record with world-class musicians around the globe such as Bluey from Incognito(Gt), Stewart Zender(Bs ex.Jamiroquai), Terrace Martin(Sax), Nicholas Payton(TP), Renato Neto(Key), and Kat Dyson(Gt) etc. On October 13th, 2019, he hosted his first outdoor event called “Yu Sakai 10th Anniversary Special Live – SAKAI’S JYU” at the Hibiya Open Air Concert Hall to celebrate his 10th anniversary.
On March 4th, 2020, he released his studio album, “Touch the World”, recorded in Los Angeles, New York, London, and São Paulo. The album ranked #1 on the iTunes R&B chart. He also released a Digital single, “BACKSTAY” on October 21st.
